Great Full Bathroom Designs
Through out your bathroom you want to maintain one particular design and decor theme. There's nothing worse than walking into a bathroom that looks like a hardware store display - with 3 different types of fixtures, 3 paint colors, and 3 styles of tiles.Consistency really is key with your bathroom design. If you decide you want to go with a modern theme, stick with it all the way through. Modern styling really is unique and has a very clean feel to it with sharp corners on sinks and tubs, and usually shiny chrome-like fixtures. If you're a little more consertative you could always stick with the traditional style and add your own flare with shower curtains or paint colors and trim.
A Few Unique Bathroom Design Ideas
Here a few great bathroom design themes that I've seen or heard about over the years.
- African Bathroom Design - Usually utilizes different shades of brown or light yellows, darker tiles, and subtle halogen lighting. Paintings of exotic animals and maybe an exotic shower curtain can really add to it's feel too.
- Chinese Bathroom Design - Less common than most, but a very modern style, especially for a bathroom. Typically people will stick with black and white for most decor, with zen like accessories. Blends very well with modern style fixtures and theme.
- Ocean Bathroom Design - Blue, blue, and maybe some yellow. Pretty common design but I think it's always going to be a favorite for bathrooms. There's something about the ocean that just adds to the relaxation in a bathroom. You can always add unique touches to this one such as shells and ocean breeze candles.
